TODAY Systems Inc., is a software research, development and product company with a portfolio of medium to large-scale mission critical applications and frameworks. With headquarters, development, and support operations in California and development and support operations in Australia and Europe, TODAY products are represented by technology and sales partners in twenty-two countries and are deployed at thousands of companies around the world.

Mission

Since its inception in 1992, TODAY Systems Inc.'s mission has been to develop "best in class" software development frameworks, and applications built on those frameworks, for both medium and large scale organizations.

Methodology

While TODAY is an active open source supporter and contributor to industry wide technology, TODAY products are developed, sold and supported as proprietary commercial technology.

Technology

All TODAY products are based on the BuildProfessional {BuildPro} framework for technology independent business solutions. The framework is the basis for interoperability with hardware, operating systems, databases and user interfaces. Core technologies are built on XML and related industry standards.

Expertise

TODAY leverages business value from three main areas of expertise:

• Large Scale Applications. Understanding the fundamental issues in managing large source code repositories. Rather than build and deploy, the life cycle of a large scale application is continuous.
• Rapid Development. Delivering solutions that solve constantly changing business challenges requires rapid application development. In rapid development it is fundamental to allow the developer to be highly productive without limiting a solutions business value.
• Identifying Strategic Computing Technologies. When managing solutions over 10 to 20 years, it is important to navigate between strategic and interim technologies.
